向島造機（株）が大型加工機導入
向島造機（株）（尾道市向島町、中西一貴社長）は今月からオークマ製五面加工機（ＭＣＲーＢⅢ）を導入し、大型製品の高精度加工を可能に稼働を始めた。
導入したオークマ製五面加工機（ＭＣＲーＢⅢ）は、X6500、Y3700、Z1000、W1300（クロスレール昇降型新採用）、門幅3050、テーブルサイズX6300、Y2500。クロスレール自動位置決め、水兵軸ヘッド５度割り、Z軸ダブルボールネジ仕様。
同社の産業機械部門は、機械加工部門とプラント部門があり、棒鋼圧延設備の設計から製作、据付、メンテナンスまで行い、生産性向上を含めた提案型営業を展開。新機械導入により、単品機械加工は10％、プラント部門では約５％の売り上げアップと時間も約15％の短縮を目指している。
