（株）サラダクラブが三原工場建設着工
各種の野菜をカットしてサラダなどに使うための加工専用工場が三原市で着工した。
昨年末に三原市沼西町惣定の三原市営三原西部工業団地・惣定地区への企業立地を決めた（株）サラダクラブ（東京都調布市仙川町、萩芳彰社長）が、今秋の操業開始を予定していたもので、敷地面積約9,800㎡に、鉄骨造り約2,700㎡の工場と事務所を建設する。
同社のカット野菜は主としてスーパーマーケットなどの量販店向け。西日本地区では兵庫県伊丹市南町の伊丹工場、岡山県真庭市上河内の真庭工場、佐賀県鳥栖市田代外町の鳥栖工場の３工場で加工され市場に出荷されている。三原工場は今後も需要拡大が予想されることから、西日本市場での供給体制を充実するために新工場を建設するもので、設備投資は土地代金を除いて約８億５千万円を見込んでいる。現地で採用する人員は臨時も含めて約50人を予定している。
