「たけはら海の駅」１日オープン
竹原港と大崎上島など周辺島しょ部を結ぶ竹原港北崎旅客ターミナル（竹原市港町）が改装され「たけはら海の駅」として８月１日（金）オープンする。
前日の７月31日（木）は午前11時から同ターミナルで開所式が開催され、国土交通省から「たけはら海の駅」の認定証授与式と、「みなとオアシスたけはら」本登録認定式が行われ、関係者によるテープカットで祝う。一般オープンとなる１日から３日までの３日間、グランドオープニングイベントが開催される。２日午後２時からと４時からの２回、人気アーティスト森本ケンタライブ＆トークショーとサイン会などが開催される。午前９時30分からテレビでおなじみの「熟年ファイターズ番外編」公開録画が開催される。また３階レストラン「ブルーハーバー」では先着順でプレゼントがある。
